China Features & Information Service, known as China Features (www.chinafeatures.com), is a syndicate providing text and photo essays about various aspects of China to interested publications around the world. It leads all the feature services in China in the number of overseas clients, who are based in many countries in North America, Europe, East and Southeast Asia. At request of the clients, China Features also offers information and consultation services.

Since its inauguration in 1950, China Features has seen its features stories and pictures carried by more than 1,000 publications in over 100 countries and regions. The pictures available at www.chinafeatures.com can be divided in three catalogues: picture story, photo essay and classified library, with their subjects ranging from politics, finance, military, people, sci-tech, culture, nature, life to archeology.

China Features has more than 100 contract photographers across China, and is authorized to act as their agent for all the pictures on www.chinafeatures.com. So the registered client who gets the interested picture on this website will have the legal right to use it without any copyright disputes.

Registered clients can browse and download high digital pixel identified pictures on China Features' website. Those who ask for pictures of higher quality (generally used in publications like books, advertisements, posters, etc.) could search for the pictures they want and then make a reservation, and the desired pictures will be supplied via E-mail, point-to-point transmission, CD-ROOM, MO, mailing copies or other means at the client's request.

Chinafeatures.com will also provide special services to individual clients at request, and clients can describe their needs to our picture editors, and entrust us to select appropriate pictures or photographers as required.

Chinafeatures.com is to be built into a new type of picture database, with the pictures digitally edited and stored.
