 What kind of photos we are offering?

·Chinafeatures.com is a professional online picture trading website in China. It provides high quality photos featuring events in politics, finance, military, economy, people, life, sci-tech, culture, nature, local customs and more for news media or publishing organizations.

| How to locate photos fast? |
| |
·You can have several methods to search for your photos:
1. Enter your keyword in the "keyword searching" blank at the top of the page, such as "Tibet." A more exact keyword will give a more accurate result, such as "Lhasa." By clikcing "keyword searching," the search engine will display all photos in the database with the information involving the word "Lasha." However, some of the results might be irrelevant as "Lhasa" is only mentioned in the captions.
2. You can also use several keywords at the same time. For example, if you want to look for photos about folk architecture in Guangdong, you can enter "Guangdong Folk Architecture" or "Guangdong + Folk Architecture," with a space or a plus between the keywords.
3. If you would like to further narrow down your searching range, or to have a more accurate result, you can, after the first time search, enter other keywords in "Present searching result" to have another search. You can also use several keywords at the same time at this step.
4. Use "Exact searching." Choose your searching method; database range, time range, photo category, photographer, keyword, etc.
5. Using "Classified Searching" can lend you a more systematic searching. We have breakdown branches in our main category, but sometimes there is repetition.
·For instance, if you want to look for photos of a hotel, you can enter the sub-branch of "inns and hotels" of the "urban and suburban architecture" category. You can also enter the "hotel " sub-branch in "cuisine." If you want to look for Guangzhou's hotel specifically, you can track down like this: Traveling-Guangzhou-Inns and Hotels.
·Our system will display the result as "photo and text" automatically. You can select "text only" for text information only so as to speed up the search.
·Our system will display nine photos on one page automatically. If you have a high enough network speed, you can choose more items to display on one page.

·Though Chinafeatures.com has thousands of photos provided by China Features for online searching and download, more photos are on the list of uploading. Thus, if you cannot find your required photo online, do not give up. Just fill in our online or E-mail us, or contact us by (86-10-6307-4551/6307-3676). | How can you use our photos?
|
| |
· Any user can pay to use our photos in our database, but only a contract/registered client can download and use our high-quality photos directly from our website. You can fill in the application online to become our contract/registered client, or either E-mail us or contact us by dialing 86-10-6307-4551/6307-3676.
·You can get your required photos by point-to-point, MO, CD-ROM, copy mailing and other means.
·Please note: any photo with "media publication" in the agreement is limited to the use for newspapers, magazines, periodicals, TV news, network media, and publishing organizations. It should not be in commercials and advertisements.

·1. Each price listed above is a usage price for the integrated right to use any one picture, which is applied to the Mainland of China (but not including Taiwan, Macao and Hong Kong).
·2. The using time for a commercial advertising picture is one year, and its using area is limited in only one country (or city). When exceeding the time limit, the monthly fee will go up 10 percent from the original price; when using our pictures in more than one country, the price will go up 50 percent from the original one.
·3. We do not provide any discount in principle, unless for those clients have ordered an unusually large amount of photos.
·4. When clients order their pictures to be sent by MO, or CD-ROM, additional 50 yuan will be charged (including the postal cost).
·5. Sample pictures for commercial design will charge a service fee of 20 yuan per piece.
·6. The person who owns the copyrights of the pictures in our database is entitled to make special price deal for his/her pictures, which will not be limited by the price list.

·ChinaFeatures.com provides agent services only to the contract photographers.
·If you are interested in having us as your photo agent, please fill in the Contract Photographer Application and E-mail it to us, or contact us by phone at (86-10) 6307-4551/6307-3676, then send your photo(s) by E-mail or mail.
·If you choose to send your photo(s) by E-mail, please adjust the resolution ratio to 72dpi, JPEG format. The capacity of each message should not exceed 200KB.
· If you use mail, please use registered letter or express mail for security. After sending us your samples, please E-mail us, or phone at (86-10)6307-4551/6307-3676, or fax at (86-10) 6307-4358 to notify the sending.

·You can send your package to us by E-mail, mail, copy or CD-ROM. Our contract photographers can also upload your photos to our website.
·If you E-mail or upload your photo, please use JPEG or RGB format with the resolution ratio not less than 300 dpi and the long side not less than 2048 pixel. The file should not exceed 1000KB.

The user who uses our authorized photos is regarded as having carefully read our copyright declaration, fully understood it, and agreed to abide by all the regulations.

Usage range: All the photos in Chinafeatures.com have clearly marked with usage range. Photos with "For media, publications only" are only provided for newspapers, magazines, and TV news, publishing and net media for their editing and publication. They are strictly forbidden for advertising, packaging, trade and other commercial usage. Photos with "No limit" can be used extensively for media, publication, advertising, package and trade.

Copyright: All the pictures from Chinafeatures.com are authored by the photographers for selling or lending rights, except for the historical materials marked with "Public right." If not specially agreed, copyright of the pictures belongs to the photographer. Photographer who provides images to us should guarantee that the copyright of the images provided belongs to him/her. Chinafeatures.com shall not be liable for any legal disputes over the copyright of the images sent to us by our client.

Usage right: Ff not specially agreed, photos authorized by our company are allowed to use once. If you need to use them for more than once, you must pay for the other usage.

Usage limitation: Users are not authorized to lend or sell the authorized photos to the third party.
Nor should they put our authorized photos into usage that are detrimental to the country, society or people in any way, or use our authorized photos as gifts or in any way of selling.
Also forbidden is to use our authorized photos in an inappropriate way that may effect to dishonor the photographer or any object.
If any user violates the regulations, China Features will hold the violator liable for the damage incurred.

Responsibility: photographers should shoulder complete responsibility for the images authorized to us and the relevant written information. China Features and its website shall not take any responsibility for the consequences caused by the provided images or the relevant written information. Nor shall the service take responsibility for the consequences caused by the user's unauthorized change of our images or their relevant written information.

Others: Should anything fails to be covered in this declaration, relevant laws of the People's Republic of China shall be applied for explanation.
